Ambulatory transportation is non-wheelchair transportation. The word trips people up, and it is worth saying plainly: it has nothing to do with an ambulance. It is for individuals who are able to walk and travel in a standard vehicle seat. Our trained drivers provide assistance with getting you to and from the vehicle. We help passengers safely enter and exit, ensuring a smooth and comfortable trip from pickup to destination.
It’s the right fit if you don’t need a wheelchair but can’t drive yourself, because of a medical condition, because of age, or simply because there’s no car available. Dialysis, physical therapy, a routine check-up: whatever the appointment, we’ll get you there.

How it works
How our scheduling works
Booking is straightforward, no complicated forms, and no confusing procedures.
Call at least 24 hours before your appointment with your pickup address, where and when you need to be, and any assistance you’d like. Provide us with your Traditional Ohio Medicaid details and we confirm everything and send a reminder.
Your driver arrives on time. They’ll help you to the vehicle if you’d like, secure any mobility aids you’re carrying, confirm the destination, and take the most efficient route.
We wait during shorter appointments (for a small fee), or set a pickup time for longer ones. When you’re finished, we bring you safely home.

Every driver completes background checks and training in defensive driving, CPR, basic first aid and safety and sensitivity training. They understand HIPAA privacy rules and treat your health information confidentially.
